DESCRIPTION:West of Center: Highlights from the Wickenburg Art Club\nunspecified \nJuly 25 – September 27\, 2026 \nThe exhibit and art sale will be on view at the museum’s Cultural Crossroads Learning Center\, located at 10 N Tegner Street in Wickenburg (Corner of W. Wickenburg Way and Tegner at the light in downtown Wickenburg.) \nLocal artists and members of the Wickenburg Art Club will be exhibiting artworks in many media\, including sculpture\, oil and acrylic painting\, pastel\, photography and digital art\, wood carving and wood turning\, drawing and mixed media. Sales are encouraged! \nThe Wickenburg Art Club and the Sigler Western Museum\, cornerstones of Wickenburg’s art community since the 1960’s\, collaborate for the Annual West of Center show\, a community-curated exhibition and sale. Each summer\, the museum hosts the Wickenburg Art Club which curates a selection of artwork by its talented members. \nThis collaboration\, now lasting for more than a decade\, was an outgrowth of the community’s interest in promoting art and business in Wickenburg’s historic downtown area and has been a success ever since. \nThe exhibit features the work of over 30 local artists adept in many different art media\, such as\, painting\, ceramics\, photography\, wood-working\, fiber art\, jewelry\, and more. There is something for every art lover to enjoy. Artists also  give free demonstrations during the run of the show. \nThe public is invited to attend a Preview Reception to view the artwork and vote for their favorite piece of art for the People’s Choice award\, enjoy refreshments\, and meet the artists at this special celebration.

DESCRIPTION:Creatures of the Night Walk\nWhat comes alive at the Hassayampa River Preserve after the sun goes down? \nJoin Ranger Eric for an after-hours adventure through the Preserve’s trails in search of bats\, owls\, ringtails\, foxes\, skunks\, javelinas\, deer\, scorpions\, insects and other nocturnal wildlife. \nParticipants will hike approximately 1 to 1.5 miles along mostly flat\, easy trails. Some sections may be uneven or sandy. Bring a flashlight or ultraviolet blacklight if you have one.
