Gold Rush Days most significant recognition is from the Library of Congress\, “whereas Gold Rush Days is one of America’s Living Legacies.” The Wickenburg Chamber of Commerce is the proud producer of the celebration each year\, along with partners and sponsors.

Bring your blankets and chairs!\nThis glittering holiday event is produced by the Wickenburg Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by the Town of Wickenburg.\nVisitors are encouraged to shop and eat with local businesses before or after the event. We also encourage visitors to drive through neighborhoods to see the festive Christmas light displays that adorn local homes each year.\nBring Christmas Home from Wickenburg!

DESCRIPTION:Grab your coats and hot chocolate as you walk through downtown Wickenburg\, visiting charming shops\, restaurants\, and a street market. Street performers will fill the air with holiday spirit. \n  \nStroll through downtown Wickenburg and enjoy the charming shops\, restaurants\, street market\, and listen to a variety of performers spaced out throughout the event from 5 pm – 8 pm. Head down to Stone Park to enjoy the Christmas Tree Lighting from 8:15 pm – 9 pm while a local choir fills the air with holiday spirit. \nCollect raffle tickets from downtown shops to be entered in to win great gift baskets filled with items from participating local stores. \nEVENT SCHEDULE\n5 – 8 pm: Street Market\n5 – 8 pm: Music Stroll\n8 – 8:15 pm: Walk to Stone Park\n8:15 – 9 pm: Tree Lighting \nEvents take place between Tegner and Apache Streets and Stone Park in downtown Wickenburg.

Featured cowboy poets & entertainers include Waddie Mitchell\, Yvonne Hollenbeck\, and Jean Prescott. \n  \nFRIDAY EVENING – The Cowboy Reception is on Friday\, December 3\, includes refreshments and appetizers at the Desert Caballeros Western Museum Cultural Crossroads Learning Center\, located at 17 N. Tegner Street. Our featured cowboy poets & entertainers will be performing acoustically to give you a small taste of what will be featured at the Saturday Night show. \nLimited tickets are available for the reception. The Friday reception runs from 6:00pm to 7:30pm; doors open 15 minutes earlier. \nFriday Admission: $10 per person; $20 at the door. \n  \nSATURDAY EVENING – The featured cowboy poet’s performance is scheduled on Saturday\, December 4 at 7:00 p.m. at the Wickenburg Community Center\, 160 N. Valentine Street. Doors open at 6:30pm.
