DESCRIPTION:Wickenburg Rolls from a Record-Setting February into a Packed First Weekend of MarchFebruary in Wickenburg showed up big – Gold Rush Days\, the Artisans’ Fair\, and nonstop team roping across town all helped deliver one of the busiest (and best) winter stretches we can remember. And now\, we’re closing out the month strong and stepping straight into March with a full slate of can’t-miss events. Here’s what’s happening from Thursday\, Feb. 26 through Monday\, March 2. Thursday\, Feb. 26 Art of the Cowgirl continues at Rancho Rio through Feb. 28 – find the full lineup on our Events Calendar. Velvet Vaquera (The Mecca) – 6:30-9:30 PM – an elevated Western fashion night in downtown Wickenburg.Friday\, Feb. 27 Senior Team Roping – Downtown Arena (Senior Prize Day) – books close at 10:00 AM\, rope at 10:15 AM. All Ages Team Roping – Horns & Hooves Arena – check the schedule and plan to be early (books close before the rope drops). Art of the Cowgirl – “The Painted West” Workshop (Session 2) – 9:00 AM-12:00 PM at Rancho Rio.Saturday\, Feb. 28Family Fun Day (Stone Park) – 9:00-11:00 AM – FREE\, family-friendly morning with activities and story time. Buckeye Banquet (Flying E Ranch) – 5:00-10:00 PM – fundraiser night at Flying E Ranch. 24th Annual Everett Bowman Rodeo Arena Fundraiser (Wickenburg Community Center) – doors at 5:30 PM – dinner\, music\, and auction fun supporting the arena.
