DESCRIPTION:Project SALT continues to show what community support looks like in Wickenburg.								\n					\n				\n		\n					\n				\n									Led by Board President Chris Strale\, with the support and dedication of his wife\, Traci Strale\, Project SALT has become a steady force for families\, individuals\, and neighbors who need a helping hand. Each month\, Project SALT provides approximately 250 sack lunches\, helps with around 600 clothing visits\, and serves between 300 and 400 families throughout Wickenburg and the surrounding communities. Now\, that mission has taken on an urgent new focus: helping those affected by the Jones Fire. 								\n					\n				\n		\n					\n				\n																														\n					\n				\n		\n					\n				\n									After a flood of donations came in from community members\, local businesses\, churches\, and generous neighbors\, Project SALT has been working nonstop to transport\, store\, sort\, and prepare donated clothing\, household goods\, and essentials for families displaced or impacted by the fire. Project SALT has been granted temporary use of The Little Red Schoolhouse\, where volunteers will help create an organized\, almost retail-style environment. The goal is to make it simple\, respectful\, and dignified for fire victims to find the items they need. But there is a tight timeline. Project SALT has the schoolhouse for only one week\, and they need volunteers to help get it ready. Volunteers Needed Friday\, June 19 at 8 AMCommunity members are encouraged to show up and help: Friday\, June 198:00 AMThe Little Red Schoolhouse Volunteers will help sort clothing\, organize household goods\, set up displays\, and prepare the space so Jones Fire victims can easily access what they need. This is hands-on community work\, and every extra set of hands will make a difference. 								\n					\n				\n		\n					\n				\n							\n			\n						\n		\n						\n				\n									Project SALT Featured at National Bank of Arizona								\n					\n				\n		\n					\n		\n				\n																\n															\n															\n				\n		\n				\n									Project SALT is also currently being recognized through the Business of the Week Program at National Bank of Arizona\, helping shine a brighter light on the important work being done by the organization and its volunteers. 								\n				\n					\n				\n		\n					\n				\n									The recognition comes at a fitting time\, as Project SALT continues to answer the call for local families through food\, clothing\, household support\, and now fire relief efforts. 								\n				\n							\n			\n						\n		\n						\n				\n									Gilly Pollard Helps Bring Project SALT’s Mission Online								\n					\n				\n		\n					\n		\n				\n																\n															\n															\n				\n		\n				\n									Another familiar face helping Project SALT connect with the community is Gilly Pollard\, the online face of Project SALT and youth pastor at The Place Church in Wickenburg. 								\n				\n					\n				\n		\n					\n				\n									Earlier this year\, Gilly hosted Gilly’s Grateful Day\, a successful fundraising event held at Dillon’s in Morristown. The community benefit featured live music\, a tie-dye station\, silent auction\, food\, drinks\, and plenty of local support. One hundred percent of the profits from Gilly’s Grateful Day went directly back to Project SALT to help fund programs like the organization’s Free Summer Swim Program\, which gives families one night a week all summer long to swim completely free\, courtesy of Project SALT.
