The 18th Annual Wickenburg Walks to BOOT Breast Cancer takes place Sunday, October 18, 2026, beginning in front of the Wickenburg Public Library at 164 E. Apache Street.
Open to participants of all ages, the event offers a choice of an easy one-mile route or a 5K through historic downtown Wickenburg and scenic Simpson’s Ranch. Supporters who cannot attend in person may also participate virtually.
Event Schedule
Check-in, team photographs and complimentary prize-drawing tickets will be available from 7:00 to 7:45 a.m.

Create a Team and Dress for the Occasion
Participants are encouraged to form teams with family members, friends, neighbors and coworkers. Creative and outlandish costumes are part of the fun, and leashed dogs are welcome to join the walk.
Teams must register by October 10 to compete for awards recognizing the most money raised and the largest number of team members.

Important Registration Deadline
Register by Sunday, September 27, to receive an official event T-shirt. Organizers emphasize that extra shirts will not be ordered, so participants should select a shirt while completing registration.
Online registration, fundraising tools and participation categories for adults, youth and survivors are available through the official registration website.
Every step helps support the Wickenburg Breast Cancer Network and its work assisting residents of Wickenburg and neighboring rural communities.
Whether you walk one mile, complete the 5K or participate virtually, this is an opportunity to celebrate survivors, remember loved ones and stand beside neighbors facing breast cancer.
