77th Annual Gold Rush Days – National Senior Pro Rodeo Association (NSPRA) Rodeo & Open Rough Stock

Saddle up, Wickenburg – the 77th Annual Gold Rush Days wouldn’t be the same without the National Senior Pro Rodeo Association (NSPRA), bringing big-time rodeo action to the Everett Bowman Arena (935 Constellation Rd., just 2 miles east of Downtown Wickenburg). NSPRA features seasoned contestants 40 and older competing in 10 sanctioned events: Bareback, Bull Riding, Tie Down Roping, Ladies Barrel Racing, Ladies Breakaway Roping, Men’s Breakaway Roping, Ribbon Roping, Saddle Bronc, Steer Wrestling, and Team Roping. Catch the National Senior Pro Rodeo & Open Rough Stock February 14 and 15gates open at 11:00 am and the rodeo starts at 2:00 pm (rain or shine). Admission: $20 adults, $15 seniors, $10 students, and kids under 5 are free. Make a full weekend of it – on Sunday the Wickenburg Community Center is buzzing with the Mucking & Drilling Contest at 10:00 am, Gold Panning at 11:00 am, and the Arizona Gold Panning Championship at 1:00 pm, then head back to the arena for the second rodeo performance at 2:00 pm.
