FLEET FIRST JUMPS IN FEET FIRST

FLEET FIRST JUMPS IN FEET FIRST

We first met Webb Engemann a couple of years ago, during Covid. When we needed a truck repair during the lockdown, a quick fix was not even an option. Quotes over the phone were stupid expensive & most said they wouldn’t even give me a quote, until I had it towed it to them, and even then, it would be awhile before they could get to it! What a bust!

I heard about Webb from the counter guy at Auto Zone. He told me he knew of a local mobile repair guy here in Wickenburg that could fix ‘Anything’ and was pretty inexpensive. That was my Que – I got his number & called the guy. Webb showed up within an hour… in an Ambulance!

He had repurposed an old ambulance into a rolling auto repair shop. His ‘Fleet First’ logo was on the side & that beautiful beast was full of gear & busy rolling around town servicing and repairing everything from SUV’s, cars & light trucks to RV’s and heavy equipment. Webb was a no nonsense guy that had plenty of experience and was comfortable working on anything, Gas or Diesel! Nice guy… Hell’uva beard too!

He solved our automotive emergency quickly & painlessly, charged us about 1/2 what other shops had quoted & was on his way to the next call before we could say “Thanks Buddy!” Oh, did I mention it was in the low 40’s outside & he didn’t seem to give a crap at all? I think his time in the US Army made him immune to freezing cold & made him want to work harder.

In the following months, we saw he took up a brick & mortar location out on US 60 behind what used to be ‘The Nest’ – Every time we drove by, the place was overflowing with trucks, cars & RV’s. I noticed him looking for help a few times on FB over the next few months & then, kinda just lost track. A few months after that, I saw the location on the 60 was emptied of vehicles & the front business ‘The Nest’ had changed hands, so I figured he had gone under during the pandemic. Wrong.

We saw a post on FB that Webb’s company. ‘Fleet First Services’ had just moved up the street a few yards and had taken over the old Auto Tech shop from the previous owner.

Now located at 30330 US-60, Webb and his crew have been quietly wrenching on anything with an engine, and are again, up to their eyeballs with service and repairs on countless cars, trucks, RV’s, heavy equipment and of course….horse trailers! His crew includes some of the best certified technicians in the area and he’s proud to share he’s a  U.S. military veteran owned and operated business.

Fleet First Services has a pretty extensive operation out on the 60 with multiple shops on the property, including a HUGE bay for larger jobs & a parts store. And yes, he still has a Mobile Repair Rig so he can show up onsite for RV & heavy equipment repairs when necessary. (Not the ambulance, he upgraded to a better rig a while back) He’s been so busy, he hasn’t even had time to hang his new signage – look for the Vintage Auto Tech sign with the ‘big arrow’.

A couple of weeks ago we offered to create a website for Webb & Fleet First Services, to help give his online presense a boost. He agreed and in a few days, he had a nice WordPress website set up & running. Check out www.fleetfirstservices.com

So, hats off to Webb Engemann at Fleet First Services. He’s landed feet first (as soldiers do) firmly planting his brand here in Wickenburg. Taking on the endless stream of clientele here in the West Valley with vehicles and rigs always in need of repair. I have no doubt of his success. His work ethic, honesty and no nonsense attitude lead me to believe he and his crew will be here for years to come.

So, check them out at www.fleetfirstservices.com, on Facebook or just give a call: 928-566-3794
New location: 30306 U.S. Hwy 60 89, Wickenburg, AZ 85390
