Wickenburg boasts a beautiful network of scenic parks and trails that invite visitors to explore the natural beauty of the area. From hiking and sports fields to shaded picnic areas and open desert landscapes, there are endless ways to enjoy the great outdoors.

Boetto Park

About the Park:

Tour Boetto Park to view its many unique features, including:

  • Viola Wellik bronze appreciation plaque
  • One-of-a-kind Arizona marble sculpture by Sunrise Mine; the Vietnamese marble base was donated by former Senator John McCain and Mrs. McCain
  • Unique displays of Wickenburg history

The park is named for the Boetto family. John Boetto (1874-1957) immigrated from northern Italy and was Wickenburg's first volunteer fire chief.

Coffinger Park

Located in downtown Wickenburg, Coffinger Park is a spacious, shaded gathering spot perfect for events. Named for former Mayor Howard L. Coffinger (1908-1974), who served his community in many civic roles.

Dog Park

Address: 3390 W Wickenburg Way

This off-leash park is operated by Wickenburg Dog Park, Inc. and maintained entirely through donations. It's a great space for dogs and their humans to safely socialize and play.

Maguire Park

Address: 480 W America Street

This neighborhood park is named for Charles and Sylvia Maguire, who helped fund several key developments around Wickenburg, including churches and housing areas in the 1940s-1960s.

Sunset Park

Address: 3020 W Wickenburg Way

This active-use sports complex hosts youth and adult leagues and is perfect for family fun. Donated by George and Viola Wellik, longtime residents and local philanthropists.

Stone Park

Located in downtown Wickenburg between Town Hall and the Public Library, Stone Park is ideal for community fairs and outdoor gatherings. Named for Russell E. Stone, WWII veteran and civic leader.
