Desert Caballeros Western Museum and its Board of Trustees cordially invite you to attend our 18th annual signature event, Cowgirl Up! – a celebration of the West’s best women artists. The fun begins with a full weekend of special events March 31- April 2, 2023. The exhibition and sale continue through September 3, 2023.

Main Exhibition Preview and Miniatures Sale Preview

Friday, March 31 – 2 p.m. – 3 p.m. in the museum galleries. Included in weekend package; $10.00 per person otherwise (plus museum admission).

Miniatures Sale, Artists and Patrons Party

Friday, March 31 – 4:30 p.m. – 7 p.m. in the museum galleries. Box draw at 6 p.m. Included in weekend package; $75 per person otherwise. Dancing to live music, 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.

Exhibition Preview

Saturday, April 1 – 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. in the museum galleries. Included in weekend package; $10 per person otherwise (plus museum admission).

Chuck Wagon Breakfast, Quick Draw and Live Auction

Sunday, April 2 – 9 a.m. – noon. Included in weekend package; $35 per person in advance otherwise; *$45* per person at the door; Kids 12 and under $15 each with an adult ticket purchase.

Cowgirl Up! Western Women of Distinction Luncheon 

The “Western Women of Distinction Luncheon and the Elizabeth Hudson Smith Award” ceremony is set to take place at 12 p.m. at the Desert Caballeros Western Museum’s Learning Center in Wickenburg, Arizona. The keynote speaker will be Meredith Dunlap-Sterret, senior vice president, Northern AZ Regional Manager at National Bank of Arizona.

This fundraiser will continue to expand the legacy of the Museum’s signature exhibition, “Cowgirl Up!”, while celebrating and recognizing accomplished women of the West. It is also meant to inspire other women to further the Western spirit in the 21st century. Thank you to National Bank of Arizona, the Key Sponsor.
