Arizona offers six national forests ranging from the sky islands along the U.S.-Mexico border to the rims of the Grand Canyon.  Start 2022 outdoors in the parks! Arizona State Parks and Trails is joining a national collaboration of all 50 state park systems to host guided “First Day Hikes” on New Year’s Day. First Day Hikes offer a great way to get outside, exercise, enjoy nature and welcome the New Year with friends and family. “Managing and conserving Arizona’s natural, cultural and recreational resources for the benefit of the people, both in our Parks and through our Partners.”
