'Spectacular Arizona Weather'
New Exhibit at the Wickenburg Art Center & Gallery kicks off Saturday, October 4th and runs through October 25th
Arizona weather has a personality all its own – from blazing sunsets to rolling monsoon storms and even the occasional snow-dusted peaks. Starting next month, that beauty will be on full display at the Wickenburg Art Center & Gallery with the juried exhibit Spectacular Arizona Weather.
The show kicks off Saturday, October 4th and runs through October 25th, bringing together 25 original works inspired by the stateβs dramatic skies and landscapes. Think glowing horizons, lightning flashes, and desert scenes painted in natureβs boldest palette.
Pamela Plummer, Executive Director of the Wickenburg Art Center, says it best: βThis show is a powerful visual celebration of Arizonaβs colorful sky above us and the diverse landscape beneath our feet.β
Opening night includes a complimentary Artist Reception from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. on October 4th. Guests can enjoy refreshments, meet the artists behind the work, and be among the first to take in the exhibit. The event is free and open to the public, making it an easy way to experience the creativity of Wickenburgβs thriving art community.
The Spectacular Arizona Weather exhibit will be on view during regular gallery hours – Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. – at the Wickenburg Art Center & Gallery, located at 188 South Tegner Street.
