Wickenburg’s Sunset Park is a favorite among locals (at least this local 🙂 This park has all the balls! From Pickle to Soft, Baseball to Soccer, Tennis to Basketball, Sunset has it all. There’s also a state of the art playground with swings climbing walls and slides also has a really fun splash pad for the kids. On the opposite end and the next exit off the 60 coming from town, there are two, count them 2 enclosed Dog Parks woohoo – you can also get there from the park on the incredibly manicured trails that go around the whole park. During baseball and softball seasons there is a snack booth, otherwise you’ll need to remember to bring in water and snacks, there are also BBQ’s for a great day at the park.
Some great events – 4th of July Fireworks, Car Show, Pickle, Soft & BaseBall tournaments, plus more. Be sure the check our events page to see what’s happening at the park and around town. A special THANK YOU, to the staff & volunteers that keep the park looking amazing…
Sunset Park was donated by the late George and Viola Wellik; local philanthropists who owned the historic Flying E Guest Ranch nearby.
