That same first weekend, things heat up even more with Chili Con Carnage on Saturday, April 4 at noon at Vulture Peak Brewing Company. Billed as a showdown of flavor, fire, and friendly competition, it is the kind of fun, community-driven event that adds even more life to an already packed April calendar – and it all supports a great local cause.
The action keeps rolling with Wild Wickenburg Bull Riding on Saturday, April 11 at Everett Bowman Arena. Between the rodeo and the bull riding, April gives locals and visitors more than a few chances to soak up the town’s Western spirit.
April is also a strong month for the roping crowd at Rancho Rio.
